Spring Wedding Trends

This spring there are some fabulous trends for bridal wear and wedding designs.  There are some retro and vintage styles influencing both decor and bridal gowns, along with a new contemporary edge to some classic looks.

In colors, we are seeing a jump in neutral colors, while at the same time pop shades and neons are becoming popular accents.  Dresses are becoming increasingly colored as brides are steering away from the traditional all white look, and everything from center pieces to cakes are matching the color palette.

In wedding decor, there is a draw to the old fashioned romance of yesteryears, with antique furnishings and candelabras, and vintage inspired china and goblets.  However, there is a growing appreciation for the clean lines and chic simplicity of contemporary art as well that is leading to a lovely modern playful feel in decorations and design.

Dresses have found a love for bohemian elegance along with sleek lines of ultramodern fashion.  Lace and textures have stayed strong as both detail pieces and base fabrics, along with silky satins with a classy sheen.

Bouquets have even seen an evolution, whether towards the vintage romanticism or new personalization, they cause a buzz among new brides.  Flowers like pink peonies and white roses are this springs biggest sellers, and one of the most popular trends this season are broaches to add a timeless effect to the classic bouquet.
